Ammonite Fossil 9.5cm

A fine ammonite fossil, sitting in a hearty rock base. This beautiful fossil displays the outside of the ammonite shell and shows us the ridged surface with great detail. It is a wonderful way to bring natural beauty and millions of years of history into your home with style and taste.

Ammonites were squid-like animals that swam freely in the ocean, carrying their homes with them. Living between 135 -395 million years ago, they make wonderful fossils, the perfect way to interest children in history and bring a sense of natural wonder to any space.
