Iron Pyrite Sphere 10cm

Pyrite has a regular cubic crystal structure that makes it a powerful earth symbol. It is often used as a grounding stone. It is traditionally a stone of protection, shielding us from harmful energies. Pyrite has long been associated with magic and worked into amulets along with other crystals. The name 'pyrite' means 'fire stone', so called because it sparks when struck. Because of this it has been used to start fires for thousands of years.

This iron pyrite sphere has a beautifully polished surface showing the natural sheen of pyrite. It also contains small cavities containing the beautifully regular crystals. The combination of pyrite's earth power and wonderful metallic appearance makes a great sphere, however you chose to use it.
