Okenite forms very thin, straight radiating crystals that look soft and fluffy. These "cotton ball clusters" make fascinating specimens and can look very attractive.
Okenite often accompanies rare minerals such as apophyllite, gryolite and zeolites. It also forms insize volcanic rock vesicles, resulting in beautiful okenite "geodes".
