An ancient Chinese symbol of prosperity and believed to drive away evil whilst protecting your wealth, the Three Legged Money Toad, also known as 'Chan Chu', is a significant part of Chinese culture. The Feng Shui money frog traditionally has a coin in its mouth to symbolise its role in increasing prosperity. In mythology it is said to appear, during the full moon near the homes of those who are due to receive good news of increased wealth and income.

According to Feng Shui principles, a Chinese money toad should be placed in the living room or a business' main room in the corner diagonally opposite the entrance. Corners are where chi concentrates and therefore they are a strategic spot for the chi flow of the room. This gives the money toad a direct influence and strength by the concentration of chi energy.
