Conichalcite is a fairly rare mineral, nearly always found as micro-size crystals or as crusts.
This specimen was collected from the South Pit of the well known Gold Hill Mine, Utah, U.S.A. The crystals are tiny, forming radiating botryoids of bright green.
An excellent specimen for the macro/micro photography enthusiast.
