Origin of Name & Mythology: From the Greek αξίνα ("axina") for "axe", in allusion to the common habit of its crystals, and manganese dominance in the formula.
Mangano Axinite exhibits many of the characteristics of Ferro Axinite, without the grounding and shielding qualities, and its work appears to start with the heart, not the root. Even a small example is surprisingly powerful.
