Libethenite has a calm, cool, watery energy, like plunging into a dark pool, and is a ‘slow burner’, gradually entering into a process with the user, then growing in strength and connection. It gently grounds and protects, balances on all levels, calms the mind and aids integration of energies. As such, it is useful in the treatment of ADHD, as well as helping quiet an over-active mind to allow for deep meditation and trance. Conversely, its connection with the Root Chakra can also stimulate libido and a desire to move forward, (qualities recognised by Melody), especially when it occurs with quartz.
Libethenite opens and clears all Chakras, particularly the Throat and Crown, and expands and strengthens the body’s Chi or energy field. It can be an aid to sound healers, especially those using the voice, and is also useful in clearing past and past-life trauma.
