This particular form of zoisite is green, oxidising to form black spots, and contains ruby. Both stones connect with the Heart Chakra, but the ruby forms a Heart connection with the Divine, while the Zoisite, with its black inclusions, is powerfully grounding, thereby allowing us to strengthen our spiritual connection while keeping our feet on the ground.
