Bayldonite is a fairly rare mineral, usually found as micro-size, apple green crystal groups. Associated pale blue/green cuprian Adamite crystals and cream Mimetite crystals make for an attractive combination on this piece. Tiny plates of unusual colourless Wulfenite are also present, plus a number of other rarities.
This specimen is from a batch collected around 15 years ago from San Rafael Mine, Nevada, U.S.A.
A magnifying lens or preferably a binocular microscope is required to best appreciate these tiny crystals. An excellent specimen for the macro/micro photography enthusiast.
