Beudantite is a fairly rare mineral, usually found as micro-size, yellow / yellow-brown crystal druzes on iron-rich matrix.

This specimen is from a batch collected around 15 years ago from the Mohawk Mine, San Bernardino County, California, U.S.A.

The beudantite forms a rich coating of micro crystals.

A magnifying lens or preferably a binocular microscope is required to best appreciate these tiny crystals. An excellent specimen for the macro/micro photography enthusiast.
