Bindheimite is a fairly rare mineral, usually found as yellow/yellow-brown fibrous masses in areas rich in Lead & Antimony. It commonly forms as a replacement mineral after Stibnite, a common ore of antimony.
This specimen is from a batch collected around 50 years ago from the Humbolt Lopolith, Pershing County, Nevada, U.S.A.
These are interesting location pieces, each in their original boxes with hand typed location labels. The original dealer is unknown.
