Pale pink 'saddle-shaped' crystals of Dolomite from Black Rock, Lawrence County, Arkansas, U.S.A. covering a grey chert matrix.
Specimen Rating :
Dolomite is basically calcite with the added zing of magnesium. Magnesium is essential to the human body, so we can speculate that Dolomite works right down to a cellular level. In therapeutic terms, Some dolomite is quite powerful and can be unfortsable to work with. This is not the case with Pink Dolomite, which is much more gentle and soothing.
