Additional Information

Chalcedony nodules and botryoidal clusters are formed of tiny fibres that radiate outwards from the centre of the crystal. This will give you an indication of how the energy of the crystal flows through the body. Nodules tend to focus on one central chakra, such as the Heart, Solar Plexus, or Throat, and slowly permeate the rest of the body from that point. Think of dropping ink into a bowl of clear water. It moves with the current of the water, spreading in uneven clouds, but eventually colouring the water evenly throughout.

Chalcedony nodules clear and stimulate on a cellular level, enlivening the systems of the body, while at the same time having a remarkably calming effect on the psyche. Grey-Brown Chalcedony Nodule, Morocco (“Womb Balls”) The colour of this crystal belies its qualities, although admittedly its energy is quite soothing and somewhat grounding. It is a supreme nurturer, and in general, can teach us to nurture ourselves and others, while also strengthening the connection between parent and child. It clears and improves function in many of the body’s systems (such as digestive and respiratory), and has a stimulating and cleansing effect on the lymphatic system, so the body is better able to fight off illness and disease.

In addition, this crystal improves function of the reproductive system, in both males and females. It stimulates libido, may boost production and quality of sperm and eggs, and makes the womb more welcoming for the coming child. For this reason, they’ve been nicknamed “womb balls”.
