A very nice example of the 'short trident' type of trilobite Walliserops Trifurcatus. It is well prepared and presents attractively against a pale limestone matrix.
This fossil trilobite specimen exhibits good preservation in all areas, particularly the horns, which appear to be quite genuine, with little restoration. There is some restoration, perhaps 10% overall, most notably in the area of the trident. A very nice example of the species that displays well.
Moroccan fossil trilobites of this quality are rapidly becoming harder to source and prices are rising quickly. Be sure to consider adding this specimen to your collection.
