Witherite Mineral Specimen (part-polished) ~90mm

Witherite is a fairly uncommon mineral, found in relatively few notable locations, one of these being Alston Moor, in Cumbria, England, from where this specimen was collected in the late 1990's.

This example has been sliced and polished to show the internal structure.

Witherite is attributed with a number of crystal healing properties:-

• Helps to clear and focus the mind
• Removes unwanted and negative energies
• Reduces impulse spending and aids financial discipline.

Note - Witherite is a barium carbonate and is TOXIC if ingested. Never use it to make crystal elixirs or tonics and wash hands after handling.
