An attractive specimen of Malachite and Azurite from an unusal location - Silver Hill Mine, Pima County, Arizona, U.S.A.
The Silver Hill Mine is a former small underground Cu-Ag-Pb-Au mine group with specimens being rather uncommon. This specimen is from a batch collected 20 years ago.
Malachite is a powerful healer and balancer with natural bacteriostatic qualities, so may be used to support the immune system and fight infection.
Azurite is more often used in meditation, but can be a useful healing stone. Because of its high copper content, it is sometimes used as a mild pain-reliever.
