This beautiful Polished Lapis Crystals on White Quartz comes from the Number 1 lapis lazuli mine in Koshka Valley, Afghanistan. Lapis Lazuli, the blue mineral, usually comprises of lazurite, calcite, pyrite and other minerals. The rich blue colour is due to the sulfur that is inherent in the structure of lazurite.
