Rare pale brownish to colourless acicular needles of Mesolite radiating from a course bladed matrix of pale pink Thomsonite-Ca.
This specimen is from a small batch collected around 30 years ago from Bear Creek Quarry, Drain, Douglas County, Oregon, U.S.A.
A magnifying lens or preferably a binocular microscope is required to best appreciate these tiny crystals. An excellent specimen for the macro/micro photography enthusiast.
