Radiating hair-like needles of Natrolite lining vugs in a basalt matrix from Springfield, Lane County, Oregon, U.S.A.
Tiny individual clear/white Chabazite crystals are also present, suspended on and between individual Natrolite needles. Most specimens also have white/cream calcite in association.
One of small batch of specimens collected over 50 years ago, this is a fine example.
